We’re honored to serve pastors in New York City. This assistance exists for real financial hardship—moments where the math isn’t mathing and you need help to stabilize.

A few important things, said with care:

  • This is needs-based assistance. We’ll ask for a brief description of the hardship and a few documents to verify need.

  • This is not compensation and not connected to any services for For.NYC (no deliverables, no expectations).

  • Whenever possible, For.NYC will pay a bill directly to a provider (landlord, utility, medical provider, school, etc.).

  • We keep your information confidential and only share it with the small review team and, if needed, our finance/CPA for compliance.

  • The Process: 1) Application is filled out and submitted. 2) Review Committee considers application and makes a recommendation 3) We’ll follow up (this process can take up to two weeks)

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
